Moses & the Exodus - "Overcoming Fear"
Scripture:  Exodus 3; 4:1-12; 5; 6:10-13; 7:1-1; 14-25; 8-14 (Read aloud to students:  Exodus 3:1-15)
Memory Verse:  "Do not come any closer," God said.  "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground." (Exodus 3:5)  "God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM...'" (Exodus 3:14)
Discussion Questions: 
1.  How did God appear to Moses on Horeb, the mountain of the Lord?  From within a burning bush (vs. Exodus 3:2)
2.  What did God instruct Moses to do since he was standing on holy ground?  To not go any closer & to take off his sandals. (Exodus 3:5)
3.  God wanted to get his people our of Egypt into a land flowing with what?  milk & honey (vs. Exodus 3:8)
4.  What name of God did God tell Moses to use if the Israelites wanted to know who had sent Moses to get them out of Egypt?  I AM WHO I AM (vs. Exodus 3:14)
